Shôkoku-ji's Dharma Hall (Hattô) was rebuilt for the fifth time in 1605 (Keichô 10), using funds provided by Toyotomi Hideyori (1593-1615). Today, it stands as Japan's oldest Dharma Hall, measuring an impressive 28.72 meters wide, and 22.80 meters deep.
